FAQ's
Some common questions and answers are found below, but if you'd like a question answered that isn't listed, then please do reach out and I'd be more than happy to help.
Do you offer online and face-to-face sessions?
Face-to-face appointments are within a calm and friendly Wellbeing Centre in Clarendon Park, Leicester, or a beautiful Health and Wellbeing Hub in Whetstone, Leicester.
Online is also available if you may prefer a therapy space from the comfort of your own home.
How long is a session?
A Counselling session lasts for 50 minutes
Hypnotherapy can last between 60-120 minutes
How much does it cost?
£55 per counselling session with payment being made by BACS prior.
Limited concessions are available - please ask about this during the discovery call if you feel the cost would be a barrier to accessing Counselling.
Reduced-fee Hypnotherapy and Family Support are currently being offered while I am in training. Please inquire regarding the cost, or visit my therapy information pages HERE
How long will I need therapy for?
There is no 'one size fits all' approach to therapeutic support. In counselling, medium to long-term therapy over many months or many years may feel right - you lead this.
For some, single-session hypnotherapy sessions work. For others, several sessions may be required - these discussions will take place at the consultation
What can you help with?
I can support with a range of difficulties and challenges. Some common threads in clients I support are stress and anxiety, depression and low moods, relationship/interpersonal difficulties, grief and loss, identity and sexuality exploration, stress and finding coping strategies, experiencing domestic abuse, Cancer diagnosis, and seeking clarity in the direction of life
How often should I have Counselling?
Most people find weekly sessions really helpful, especially at the beginning. It gives you consistency, builds trust, and creates space to go a little deeper each week. Although that being said, life, as well as financial and emotional capacity, may mean that more time between sessions is needed. Counselling should fit your life, not add pressure, so we can figure out a frequency together that feels right for you.

Is there parking?
In Clarendon Park, there is no dedicated car park; however, there are plenty of surrounding streets where you can park, requiring a minute or two walk. In Whetstone, there is a dedicated car park alongside the Hub.
